POSITION : English / Language Arts- Deer Trail High School.
SALARY RANGE : Licensed Staff Salary Schedule Plus School District Comprehensive Benefits Package. Salary starts at $46,000 depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for compensation via coaching, tutoring, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION :
- Minimum B. A. in Secondary English Education
- Hold or be able to obtain Colorado Teachers' Certificate / License from the Colorado Department of Education in Secondary English Education
- Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments.
- Ability to facilitate content, data driven instruction in a standards-based classroom.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success / experience for high school students
- Ability to foster relationships with students across the grade levels via English Language Arts
- Strong background in integrating the teaching of reading and writing.
- Computer and Technology skills preferred.
- Able to work as a team member / experience (grade level or department level teams) .
- Experience working with diverse populations. Bilingual / Biliterate in Spanish and English desirable.
- Coaching available.
