Job Description:
As a Driving Instructor at Deer Valley Driving School, you will be responsible for assisting students with their driving lessons. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality experience for your students while helping them develop a strong work ethic, confidence, and self-esteem. You will also be responsible for assisting your students with their personal needs and ensuring they have a pleasant and enjoyable experience in the driving environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in education (preferred)
- Passionate about helping students improve their lives and feel comfortable in their own vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and other staff members
- Positive attitude and great personal character
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction to students in the driving lessons program. Assist them with questions, safety issues, etc. as they progress through the training program. Monitor student’s behavior and ensure that they comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and laws. Communicate with management about student progress. Maintain an open communication line. Communicate with management about student financial status, insurance status, etc. as they progress through the training program. Maintain an open communication line. Maintain accurate records of student progress throughout the program including daily logs of instruction time and attendance records. Provide support to teachers as needed during class time including answering questions about safety issues safety rules laws etc..
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
