PURPOSE OF POSITION: Deer Valley Ticket Checkers ensure that all guests have a valid lift ticket while at the same time providing them with information and directions to enhance their skiing experience. Ticket checkers also organize guests in the lift lines to provide an efficient operation.
*Please note that this is a part-time position*
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check each guest in line for a valid lift ticket
- Answer questions and provide guests with information and directions to enhance their skiing experience
- Organize guests in the lift lines to provide an efficient operation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to communicate well with people
- Must enjoy working with people and children
- Intermediate skiing ability preferred but is not required
Additional information:
Must provide own neutral colored gloves (in good repair), snow boots, ski equipment, sunglasses. Shifts run from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with an opportunity to ski during the shift.
