Fleet Maintenance Technician Level II - Deer Valley Resort

(Last year over 1,100 staff members celebrated their fifth season or more at Deer Valley).Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resortsFriends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only)Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shiftSubsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staffDiscounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park CityHealthcare options are available for staff members401k plan with company matchPURPOSE OF POSITION : Perform preventative maintenance and repair on fleet vehicles.RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.Troubleshooting and repair on all fleet vehicles and other duties as assignedMaintenance of gas / diesel engines, hydraulics / electrical troubleshooting and repair.Snowmobile / small engine experience is a plus.Able to handle tech 1 responsibilities without issue.Ability to assist level 3's, 4's, and leads as needed.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS : Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.Must supply personal tools and tool chestThis position requires experience with gas / diesel engines, hydraulics / electrical troubleshooting & repair.Computer skills are helpful.Must be able to work as part of a team.Person must be able to lift heavy items, and work in adverse conditions.Must be able to work odd hours and weekends.Uniforms, cold weather gear and safety equipment will be provided.
