What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Construction Project Manager position at Deerfield Construction Co?
Deerfield Project Managers manage commercial construction projects throughout the US. Midwest, Southeast, Northeast and a few States West. Project Management is based at the Home Office in Loveland, OH. Travel to the project sites to meet with Customers is normal at once a month, sometimes more if required.
Project Management responsibilities: Project Managers are expected to manage 1-3 projects at the same time. When a project is assigned, and a turnover meeting with estimating has taken place. Project Management will review and get familure with project contract and drawings. Produce and write subcontract scopes and exhibits.
Request and review the Customer contract required submittals. Request any project clarifications by RFI. Produce and submit weekly Customer reports. Order and secure GC furnished materials.
Produce and update project schedules using Microsoft Project. Report project status in weekly staff meetings. Work closely with project Supervision to ensure project success.
