ASC Surgery Center Administrator – Morris, IL - The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, operation, and maintenance of the Surgery Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: personnel supervision, budgeting, cost analysis, inventory management, regulatory compliance, development and implementation of goals & objectives and Quality Improvement benchmark reporting. Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have prior ASC management experience including accreditation knowledge, financial abilities and experience in third party payer negotiations. Responsibilities:
- Drive industry leading patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and employee engagement results for your operation.
- Lead presentations to and maintain strong partnerships with your center’s Governing Body, Medical Director and your team.
- Lead business development for your center through continually developing your network, market knowledge, and relationship with your business development representative.
- Lead feasibility research for adding service lines and optimizing case mix.
- Leverage your best-in-class internal corporate support teams in areas such as recruitment, partnership management, legal, business development, risk management, patient safety, human resources, accounting, financial reporting, etc.
- Collaborate with Business Office for budget controls, monitor accounts receivables and payables, prepare, and project annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance to all local, state, federal, and accrediting-body rules and other regulatory bodies including AAAHC, OSHA, CMS, DOPL, and other department specific accrediting and certifying bodies.
- Effectively manage controllable costs such as labor and expenses.
Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree Preferred.
- Experience Required: Experience in Healthcare management, evidence of leadership qualities.
- Additional Skills Required: Computer literacy, able to do word processing and Excel spreadsheets; sufficiently proficient in medical equipment to guide the selection and bid process. Able to perform the necessary functions on the center's computer systems. Cooperative work attitude toward employees, management, patients, visitors and physicians. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal and telephone communication.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
