What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nail Technician position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
This position is PART TIME: Sundays and Mondays 9-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide spa manicures and spa pedicures in a relaxing environment. The manicures and pedicures focus on the relaxation of the guest while providing excellent nail care including: cutting and filing the nails, cuticle maintenance, lotion application, and nail lacquer or gel polish application.
-Must be able to communicate with the guest regarding contraindications before beginning the service.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to sanitation and safety protocols.
-Offer personalized advice on nail care and recommend spa products for home use.
-Stay up to date with the latest nail trends, techniques, and products.
-Manage appointments and ensure timely service delivery.
-Uphold the spa's reputation by delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
-Other duties that must be completed by the nail technician include: setting up manicure or pedicure stations in an organized and attractive fashion, making sure that nail supplies are stocked, sanitizing the manicure or pedicure stations after use, assisting with laundry, and helping to maintain the over-all cleanliness of the spa.
Qualifications:
-Must be licensed in the state of Florida with a Nail Specialist license, Nail Technician license, or Cosmetology license.
-Prior spa or guest service experience is preferred.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
