Job Summary
Are you an experienced designer with a knack for both print and digital? Do you have a desire to manage your projects directly with external clients? Look no further than Grande…the makers of “the finest Italian cheeses money can buy!” We are looking for a creative and customer-centered designer to join our dynamic Solutions @ Work team. In this role, you will design and execute marketing materials for our "100-Percenters", independent restaurant owner/operators in the Casual Dining Pizza/Italian markets, providing them with insights and value-add solutions to help elevate their business.
What you need to be considered for the role:
- 2 Year / Associate Degree in Graphic Design or other related field required. An equivalent level of education and experience may be considered.
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in graphic design and web design with demonstrated knowledge of print production processes required.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience required (specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop with knowledge of page layout, working with multi-page documents & editable PDFs).
- Proficient in both Mac OS & PC environments.
- Digital experience required (HTML & WordPress).
- Ability to think critically, communicate clearly and effectively both verbally & graphically.
- Comprehensive knowledge of printing industry practices and processes including print techniques, quality standards, production/proofing process.
- Experience in working directly with customers and ensuring their feedback/needs are addressed.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with others & also independently.
- Able to meet multiple deadlines with tight schedules and limited resources.
- Proficient in HTML and WordPress to build, design and edit websites.
Preferred:
- Restaurant/Food industry experience preferred.
