Our future plans include growing our resort footprint to over 1200 rooms across five resorts at Dollywood.

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Dollywood Resorts who will embody the heart and soul of our mission of creating memories worth repeating while caring deeply about our brand.

The purpose of the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervision/leadership of entire housekeeping staff at a high-volume full-service resort. Ensure all hosts are completing their assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, the Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for supervising day to day operation, ensuring the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public space in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and operating philosophies of The Dollywood Company.

Summary of Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Assist Housekeeping Manager/Executive housekeeper to ensure that all housekeeping department hosts are completing assigned duties as required on a daily basis to provide the best possible guest experience
- Ensure all Room Inspectors are completing assigned tasks in a timely manner, assist as needed
- Motivates hosts through specific and individual praise, recognition and appreciation
- Through regular and consistent communication ensures all hosts understand the results expected to achieve
- Inspect the overall cleanliness of the public space areas and ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Identify and resolve quality problems
- Assist Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper in supervising housekeeping employees and ensuring that they are treated fairly and provided a positive work environment
- Follow company policies to handle any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications
- Evaluate systems, analyze data, evaluate products and technology an establish quality control procedures
- Working with the Housekeeping Manager/Executive Housekeeper manage the completion of the annual room’s deep clean process, ensuring that all work is completed and product is ready
- Ensure that proper maintenance is provided in order to extend the useful life of assets and the dependability of equipment
- Ensure that all work is completed in a safe manner and that is complies with the company safety program and all applicable deferral, state, and local laws or regulations and industry standards
- Conduct departmental and on-the-site job training of Housekeeping staff
- Evaluate cleaning supplies; investigate cleaning product quality problems and recommend changes or improvements
- Monitor cleaning supplies, keep inventory of supplies and order when necessary
- Perform special projects as needed
- Performs cleaning duties as needed in cases of emergency or staff shortages

Education and Experience Required
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- At least 1-year experience in hotel/hospitality supervisorial position
- High school diploma required, or equivalent
- A work history that demonstrates supervisory skills to include verbal and written communication, leadership, planning, and organizing
- Basic computer knowledge and usage preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen

- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e., stooping, bending, high level of manual dexterity for operating small tools, walking on uneven ground, pulling, pushing, etc
