Burrow Global is seeking an experienced and proactive Industrial Building Superintendent specializing in pre-engineered metal building construction for pipeline station environments. This position requires frequent travel across various project locations, including Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and other areas as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal building construction, including mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to oversee multiple subcontractors and ensure safe, high-quality execution in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all aspects of metal building construction, including mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, crew coordination is effective, and project schedules are adhered to.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor field teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
• Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections of job sites, identifying issues, and resolving them promptly.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, implementing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays that arise during the course of the project.
• Provide daily reports and updates to the project manager and senior leadership on project progress, issues, and any potential risks.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in metal building construction, with a focus on pipeline or industrial projects.
• Proven leadership experience in managing field teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, building codes, and mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in pipeline construction projects.
• Proficiency with Procore and other project management software.
• Operator Qualification (OQ) Training.
• OSHA 30 or other relevant safety certifications.
