What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outdoor & Lakeside Attendant position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services & Hospitality
- Greet guests warmly, offering assistance with outdoor activities, equipment, and amenities.
- Proactively engage with guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining outdoor seating, shade umbrellas, and lounge areas.
- Provide information on resort activities, events, and outdoor wellness offerings.
Lakeside & Outdoor Recreation
- Manage the check-out and return process for lake equipment, including kayaks, paddleboards, hydrobikes and life jackets.
- Assists with boat captain boat pre-set, docking, guest on and offboarding, and boat equipment preparation
- Oversee and maintain lawn games, ensuring they are set up and in excellent condition.
- Assist with guided outdoor experiences when needed.
Food & Beverage Service
- Take and deliver cocktail and refreshment orders for guests in pool, lakeside, Magnolia Shores and outdoor lounge areas. Per TABC requirements, must be at least 18 years of age to take orders, make/pour beverages and/or serve alcohol
- Ensure outdoor dining spaces remain clean and well-stocked.
- Work closely with the food & beverage and guest services teams to enhance guest experiences.
Facility Maintenance & Safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock, shoreline, beach, and pool areas.
- Monitor and restock towels, sunscreen, and other guest necessities.
- Ensure all lake and outdoor equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols, assisting guests as needed with life jackets and water safety, and walking waterfront, dock and pool areas for cleanliness, safety and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, or food & beverage service preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, proactive approach.
- Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs.
- TABC (Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission) and Food Handler certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
