Compensation for this role is: $55,000 - 60,000 DOQ
Job Summary
Design, implement and administer company-wide in-person and online training programs. Collaborate with Managers to understand business learning needs. Manage curriculum, including creation, design, and development of adult learning solutions, including Instructor-Led, Web-Based, and blended training solutions. Coordinate communication, scheduling, and evaluation of learning and business outcomes.

- Creates and/or acquires, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of training for current employee skills and professional development.
- Conducts annual training and development needs assessments/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with mission training objectives and develops training plans as needed.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Audits the LMS system for compliance with DHS, Adult & Teen Challenge USA and other entities. Works with managers to monitor and ensure employee training compliance.
- Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors materials, and other representatives.
- Consults with senior leadership staff to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints.
- Prepares plans for training project completion, including comprehensive scripting, themes, development and timelines. Coordinates related instructional document preparation with key staff or other departments.
- Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
- Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
- Deliver programs related to leadership, supervisory and managerial skills.
- Integrate, develop & create training courses and content into Litmos LMS.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement enhancements to the LMS to improve data integrity and improved user experience.
- Provide support and expertise to departments for training development and delivery, with special attention to support of Recovery Coach Supervisors and their training needs.
- Apply adult learning theory and application of current best practices in learning tools and techniques.
- Develops and maintains a company-wide training calendar.
- Litmos LMS Training system / records: Oversee monitoring LMS and assuring accurate and timely completion of training activities and events. Responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting problems in the LMS. Manage and run LMS reports.
- Conducts Litmos new supervisor training.
- Manage Litmos course library to ensure content is updated regularly and meets organizational needs.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development. Understanding of 245G, Board & Lodging, 2960 and other state requirements to ensure compliance on all levels of the organization.
- Updates Litmos access based on personnel changes.
- Updates employee training documentation and records in UKG.
- Oversees Training inbox, responds to Litmos and training questions.
- Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
- 2 year Associates Degree in human services
- 1 year training experience
- Work experience in residential recovery environment, preferred
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with multiple departments, management and the HR staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong creative design ability.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Thorough understanding of training processes.
- Ability to moderate large groups.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
