Mental Health Supervisor
Organization Overview
MnTC has been integrating faith and clinical best practices to support the treatment of addiction for 30 years. We have been regionally (Star Tribune) and nationally recognized as a top employer and a 2020 Newsweek survey identified three of our programs as the top ten treatment programs in the state. We provide a full range of residential and outpatient services that that can support clients for over two years. Women’s Mental Health Position Overview
This role will be responsible for the oversight of mental health services for up to 45 women living in a residential rule 245G program. The position will:
- Provide direct care to clients including– DA’s, individual therapy, group therapy, lectures and crises management
- Supervise MH Interns and Practitioners
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, addiction professionals, nurses and interns.
- Report to the Treatment Director
- Insure MH services are provided in compliance with DHS statute 245G.
Position Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- Fully licensed Mental Health Professional
- One of the following licenses: Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
- Able to pass Minnesota DHS background study
- Must be free of problematic substance use for at least two years immediately preceding employment and must sign a statement attesting to that fact
- Excellent written, communication, customer service, and case management skills
- Strong facilitation, negotiation, investigation and mediation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess maturity, patience, understanding and empathy with recovering individuals and work with a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
- Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods of time. Daily use of general office and/or residential facility equipment. Lifting (max 10 pounds), minimal reaching, bending and stooping
- High degree of computer literacy including experience using an electronic health records (EHR) system
Preferred:
- Understanding of addiction treatment.
- Understanding of 12 Step Recovery Principles
- Conducts self in a professional manner
Target Compensation (negotiable based on qualifications and tenure):
$71,000-75,000
