Job Description
Sales Agents at Defenders receive inbound telephone calls resulting from various marketing and partner campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with interested Security and Smart Home customers, close sales, and schedule installation appointments with our ADT Field employees. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering new and existing customer phone calls while following established sales processes
- Consultatively working with customers to close sales by gathering information, determining needs, and scheduling installation appointments
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by determining needs and transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution, performing follow-up tasks, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- One year of sales experience preferred
- Proven sales ability and closing skills
- Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while speaking to prospects
- High school diploma or equivalent
