Summary
DAS Services is seeking a Transitions Lead to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF system-of-systems formations comprised of mature capabilities developed by both program of record and science and technology. Included are one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT, both to be delivered to warfighting units within 27 months. The Transitions Lead will collaborate with requirements owners, developmental contractors, and transition partners to ensure prototyped formations are developed, integrated, tested, trained, and maintained in a fashion that aligns with Army program of record plans. And critically, that HMIF developments seamlessly onramp into the portfolios of partnering Program Managers.

Responsibilities
- Performing a comprehensive (Portfolio and Budgetary) transition analysis of potential transition partners to determine best fit
- Conducting risk analysis to transitioning systems
- Draft all Transition Agreement documentation in coordination with transition partners, staff, and see through final signature
- Maintain stakeholder awareness of transition plans and status – to include preparation and presentation of briefing materials
- Plan, coordinate, schedule, and lead the Transition Working Group
- Present recommendations to the HMIF System Engineering Integrated Team (SEIT) for activities to enhance HMIF alignment with transition partners
- Ability to assess transition pathways while accounting for transition partner programmatic and budgetary postures
- Negotiating with stakeholders to enable successful HMIF transition pathways
- Experience drafting DoD transition documentation
- Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced work environment given minimal instruction and supervision to accomplish complex tasks
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 4 years of directly traceable experience
- Experience with DoD acquisition lifecycle process.
- Recent transition experience with Army robotics platforms, HMI payloads and network systems (both Army infrastructure and wireless capabilities)
- Familiarity with Army Acquisition systems and system owner organizational structures for both programs of record and science and technology.
- An understanding of key technologies, data or knowledge products of interest enabling effective transitions
- Superior writing skill inclusive of developing technical system-level specifications
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate and deliver focused briefings on complex topics to senior leaders
- Ability to work on and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.
