Summary:
DAS is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineerrecent college graduates are highly encouraged to apply! This is an excellent opportunity to launch your engineering career by supporting high-impact Department of Defense projects at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing, and integration in support of Army systems. Candidates must be able to work onsite full-time and hold an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
- Support preparation of technical documentation and engineering reports.
- Participate in data collection, system testing, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support integration and troubleshooting.
- Follow DoD engineering standards, processes, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field (recent graduates encouraged).
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Ability to work onsite at APG, MD (5 days/week).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
