Job Description
The Defense Commissary Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Store Operations Manager. This position is responsible for leading a team of employees in the operation of a commissary store, ensuring the timely accomplishment of assigned workload and maintaining high-quality service to customers.
About the Job
- Distribute and balance workload among employees, assuring timely accomplishment of assigned workload.
- Monitor the status of work and make adjustments in accordance with established priorities.
- Provide on-the-job training in specific tasks and job techniques.
- Recommend changes in work methods to improve timeliness and quality of work.
- Provide input to supervisor on employee performance, conduct, and training needs.
- Perform work in various areas of the commissary.
Requirements
- Be a U.S. citizen or national. Applicants with a Permanent Resident Card are authorized to live and work in the U.S. but are not eligible for employment in positions requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Meet minimum age requirement.
- Males born after 12-31-1959 must be registered with or exempt from Selective Service.
- May be subject to successful verification of identity and employment eligibility through E-Verify.
- May be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as required.
- Be able to obtain and maintain clearance eligibility based on the appropriate background investigation.
- May be subject to a probationary/trial period.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Meet the physical requirements identified in the Qualifications section.
Qualifications
- You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date.
