What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Guard II position at Defense Consulting Services?
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10 pm - 6 am

Required Qualifications:
· Secret Clearance
· State Armed Guard Training and Certifications - LEVEL III
· Secondary Use of Force Training
· High School Diploma
· Each FTE per location will have 3 years’ physical security.
Primary Responsibilities:
Armed Security Access Control Support. This task requires Secret IT-II clearance access and Level III Certification. All employees required under this task shall perform at San Antonio, TX. Task requires each of the Employee to be onsite 100% of the time. ALL EMPLOYEES PERFORMING UNDER THIS TASK SHALL BE ARMED WHILE ON DUTY.
Guards Shall:
Provide visitor support using the visitor In/Out-processes for DISA staff, Guards, vendors, service providers and other visitor requesting access to a DISA Data Center
· Validate visitor identification
· Ensure visitation documents are complete
· Capture Common Access Control (CAC) information from visitor
· Verify visitor clearance level
· Verify Visitor Access Request (VAR)
· Ensure proper badging is provided per process
· Notify/coordinate with visitor POC
· Respond appropriately to routine requests and inquiries related to physical security/entry control policy and processes.
· Perform physical security checks of the facility on a recurring
· Guards shall perform escort duties for visitors/vendors that are non-cleared and need assistance with visit logistics, as directed by the Site/Security
