Summary About the Position : This position is located on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Accrual Leave may be authorized Responsibilities Conducting process improvement studies of healthcare delivery systems and operations. Analyzing performance and identifying areas of concern. Developing system-wide process improvement plans and coordinating with stakeholders. Providing recommendations for standardizing processes. Serving as a strategic planner and coordinating business development. Providing analytic capability and advice to leaders and decision makers. Reviewing initiatives / projects and ensuring compliance with DHA guidance. Participating in inspections and developing recommendations for improvement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing electronic healthcare systems to improve health service delivery systems; evaluating healthcare processes and recommending solutions; coordinating budgets for funds and / or resources; and participating in strategic business plans for a healthcare facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade / level position in the federal service GS-12. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
