Position: Enterprise Architect
Location: Elizabeth City, NC(100% onsite work)
Duration: Long term

Functional Responsibility:
· Provides high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
· Develops architecture products in conjunction with business line owners, integrate architectural views in accordance with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF) and CG Enterprise Architecture (CGEA) guidance.
· Document business systems using multiple architectural models/ views showing the current and future needs of the organization.
· Maintain systems architecture baseline. Provides governance of framework and methodology for the architectural development and maintenance efforts
· Develops strategy of system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
· Manages the integration of functional and technical requirements into the architecture.
· Coordinate and development of process diagrams based on transformational architecture products, capabilities, and high-level functional requirements.
· Advises on selection of technological purchases about processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
· Sets standards for the client/server relational structure for the organization (SQL SERVER, ORACLE, INGRES, etc.).
· Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
· Capable of defining all required database administration policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and SOP.
Required Skills:
· Six (6) years of experience in the development, security, compliance, and maintenance of system architectural diagrams using DODAF.
· Experience in using enterprise architecture tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, System Architect.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.:
- IAT II level certification required
- Must possess ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance
- Candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Candidate must possess strong oral communication and written comprehension capabilities.
