Summary This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at Fort Meade, Maryland . Responsibilities Investigating, identifying, and documenting client needs; analyzing needs, proposing options and, working with the client, developing specific solutions; developing design documents, including contract working drawings and specifications. Prepares and completes required project cost analysis and procurement documents. Review of individual contract Task Orders proposal responses with the scope of services, independent cost estimates, schedules, and analyses proposed products. Responsible for planning and executing project and space management functions in the areas of design and space management program development, and regulatory controls ranging from value analysis of existing programs. Plans and executes work on all actions required to execute space management, Interiors Outfitting and Transition(IOT) activities. Implements policy standards and procedures for interior design, furniture, and furnishings of new or existing office buildings. Manages renovation and furniture requests. Reviews, modifies, updates AutoCAD master drawings for repairs, remodeling, and improvement projects to ensure that interior design conforms to National building code requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Time in Grade : For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience : For the GS-13, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-12 if outside the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience planning and executing project management functions in the areas of design and program development and regulatory controls; and Communicating project requirements based on customer feedback to relevant parties (i.e. employees, management, leadership). In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position.
