Serves as a Foreign Language Teacher - Modern Standard Arabic (Associate Professor) for the Intermediate and Advanced (INT / ADV) Programs, in LREC-Operational Programs School, Continuing Education (CE) Directorate, Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), teaching over 13 languages on a schedule extending throughout the year. Courses are taught six hours per day, five days a week, with the exception of federal holidays and training holidays.

Ft. Huachuca is an Army installation located in Cochise County, in southeast Arizona, 15 minutes from a beautiful city of Sierra Vista. Established in 1877, Fort Huachuca has a rich frontier history, and as the largest economic contributors in Arizona, it is a hub of innovation and excellence.

Salary : $94,526 - $112,994 per year (The offered starting salary for this position is $94,526.00 and includes applicable locality pay.)

Relocation : May be authorized

Who May Apply : US Citizens and non-US Citizens with valid US Work Authorization. This position is a TERM time limited position tenure track. The initial appointment is not to exceed (NTE) 36 months, and may be extended upon mission, funding, and management discretion.

Qualification Requirements :

Ph.D. or Masters in a related field.
4 years of experience in at least two areas : teaching, curriculum development, faculty development, testing, program management, research / evaluation, or academic support.
Language proficiency : English (Level 2) and one additional language to be taught (Level 3).
