Job Summary: 

The Customer Service Rep is responsible for daily task of Customer Service activities. Processing Orders, Placing RFQs, Order Acknowledgements, Creating/Receiving Quotes; Calculate pricing, Shipment preparations Count accuracy. Computer Transaction Skills, communicating with internal and external customers. Perform other tasks as assigned. This position reports to the Customer Service

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily operation such as: creating orders, RFQs, Order Acknowledgements, Customer Quotes, maintaining information in JIRA/Salesforce and Costpoint, maintaining Sales Orders, calculate pricing for orders
  • Quotes standard products or services using standard price book or guidelines 
  • Communication:  Work with and provide information to internal and external customers, vendors, or centers of excellence. 
  • Receive, interpret, discuss, and edit orders received from customers and sales representatives 
  • Respond to customer inquiries such as product selection, request for prices, quotations, and delivery status.
  • Work/communicate cross functionally with Purchasing, Logistics and Sales
  • Preparation of documents for communication with internal and external customers as well as cross functional departments
  • Accountable and responsible for assigned tasks

Development Responsibilities

  • Develops quotes using guidance from estimating policies and procedures 
  • Defines customer requirements 
  • Researches historical records for similar requirements 
  • Obtains pricing from either established price lists or direct from vendors/COEs 
  • Applies mark-up factors as appropriate 
  • Obtains appropriate review/approvals per the established guidance 
  • Provides pricing to customers 
  • Maintains records to support decision process and communications 

Education and Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Associates degree in business or equivalent administrative experience preferred 
  • One to three years administrative or customer service experience 
  • Knowledge and skill in using computer software, including Costpoint, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings 

 

Preferred skills:

  • Customer Service/Inside Sales Experience
  • Purchasing experience is a plus
  • MRP experience, and the ability to work in a high stress situation within a team
  • Attention to Detail in all warehouse functions
  • Ability to take instruction and/or work independently as assigned
  • Excellent Attendance record, work ethic and integrity, reliable transportation
  • Self-Motivated

Experience:

  • 3-5 years related Customer Service/Inside Sales experience
  • Experience with Imports and Exports of goods internationally a plus
  • Purchasing experience, a plus
  • The successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

8 hour shift. 8:0 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hybrid (remote and onsite)

Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
