What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter position at Defense Search?
Manufacturer of hospitality furniture has an immediate opening for a drafter.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for taking products and projects from drawings to complete 3D design using Inventor and AutoCAD.
Qualified candidate must have experience working in a furniture, wood working environment and must have working knowledge of Autodesk, AutoCAD basic job functions.
Entry Qualifications :
- Autodesk, AutoCAD must have knowledge of advanced AutoCAD (client is currently running 2016 and 2017)
- Preferable knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Pro
- Desirable experience in woodwork, millwork fixtures and seating
- Knowledge of CNC will be a plus
- A creative approach for generating new ideas
- A good knowledge of how to use Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- An excellent grasp of engineering & design principles
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of manufacturing processes & construction methods
- Good team working skills
- Good mechanical aptitude & knowledge
- Self-motivated & highly organized
- Spanish bilingual would be a plus
Essential Functions :
Pay $24.00-$25.00 per hour.
Salary : $24 - $25
