Job Title : Machine Shop Assistant
Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Assistants with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and operating dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. This position follows a 4 / 10 work schedule, Monday to Thursday, from 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM.
Key Responsibilities :
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.
Operate dimensional tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to measure and verify components.
Assist with various tasks in the machine shop to support production and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a machine shop or similar environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Skilled in using dimensional tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Salary Range : $20.00-$22.00
