Plumbing Assembly Lead
Job Summary
Organize industrial plumbing assembly work.
Prioritize work, assign tasks to team members, check accuracy and quality of work, work with the team.
Perform industrial plumbing assembly work on larger scale machines.
Fit, align, adjust, and connect components and assemblies within close tolerances.
Assemble plumbing part of the machine based on information translated from job orders, work instructions, procedures and drawings.
Take complete ownership of the project at hand.
Able to read Plumbing and Instruments Diagram.
Able to read engineering drawings.
Ability to rout plumbing based on P&ID.
Ability to build quality, esthetically appealing plumbing, with no licks.
Able to perform PVC, Polypore, and steel plumbing. Glued and threaded connections.
Understanding the entire scope of the job at hand and being able to work / communicate with other techs working on the same job and do efficient work.
Use proper tools and equipment for different types of plumbing.
Keep work areas clean in appearance.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for planning and executing the entire plumbing assembly of a machine.
Communicating with other trade leads (electrical, mechanical) working on the same machine.
Successfully read and understand various schematic layouts.
Must be able to use a large variety of small hand tools such as wrenches, torque wrenches, saws, and must be able to use mechanical measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, measuring tape.
Is willing to engage in ongoing education and is interested in continuous improvement.
