Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive coverage of premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure the safety of assets.
- Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, daily activities, and any irregularities encountered during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing information or assistance during investigations.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional security certifications are a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or breaches in security protocols.
