Part Time BMV Clerk Position Open at Defiance License Bureau

Overview:
Join our incredible team. We are seeking a detail-oriented Clerk to join our fun team for Part Time. This is NOT a State position and does not include any benefits, we are privately contracted. The position will include two paid holidays per year & start at $12 an hour. This position will be for a couple days a week and Saturdays. Also will be an extra for if others need or call off. We are closed all Sundays, evenings, and Federal Holidays. Business hours are Monday through Friday 8-5 and Saturdays 8-12 in Van Wert and Saturdays 8-2 in Defiance. This is a great position for someone who needs evenings, holidays, and Sundays off. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks and possess excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
-Customer Service. Waiting on customers, issuing plates, registrations, ID's, & Licenses.

- Proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies
- Provide support in an office setting
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing paperwork
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide excellent customer service
-Answer phone calls

-Perform Out of State Inspections

-Issue licenses, ID's, Plates

Skills:
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience in customer support or related roles
- Familiarity with office procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in general office tasks and procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
