We are looking for energized, highly motivated individuals to work in our Child Protective Unit. This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position, and included an on-call status every 7-8 weeks, with on call pay supplement. A hybrid work option offered after successful completion of probation. JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties include processing and complete ICPC requests to ensure timely placements across state lines. Conduct thorough evaluations of potential kinship caregivers, including home studies and interviews. Manage PPLA cases, focusing on achieving stable and permanent living arrangements for youth. Assist eligible families with the KPIP application process to secure financial and support services. Supervise parent-child visits within the agency, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Participate in intake days, taking calls and entering reports in the Statewide Automated Child Welfare System. Completing and managing vouchers for foster care placement, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. Candidate will obtain an assessor’s licenses, become a CANS assessor, and back up MEPA Monitor for the agency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Criminal Justice or other related fields.
