Inventory Support Specialist

Defibtech is seeking an Inventory Support Specialist, based onsite at our Branford, CT manufacturing facility, responsible for providing support to day-to-day warehouse and inventory activities.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Supports the movement of materials throughout the site.
  • Provides support in maintaining an organized warehouse and production floor by loading, unloading, stocking, unboxing inventory items, and building product boxes for shipment.
  • Receives inventory into the ERP system.
  • Pulling and kitting inventory for jobbing process.
  • Operates pad screen station as needed.
  • Provides backup support in driving the company truck to move inventory between locations.
  • Demonstrates Defibtech’s values on the job. Promotes and participates in continuous improvement.
  • Actively supports compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, safety regulations and applicable statutes).


Qualifications / Requirements:


  • Highschool diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Valid CT driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
  • Valid DOT Medical Examination Card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and availability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and tow motor as trained.


Work Environment and Physical Demands:


  • Work is based in a light manufacturing and warehouse setting.
  • Medium work that includes frequently lifting and carrying objects up to 30lbs; pushing/pulling loads up to 50lbs assisted using a hand truck; standing 6-8 hours per day.
