As the District Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of all our Club facilities. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. You will demonstrate a good understanding of maintenance machinery and equipment, as well as outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
o Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations
o Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
o Maintain all machinery and ensure working standards
o Create and implement maintenance procedures
o Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
o Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures
o Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates
o Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
o Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
o Maintaining service truck
Qualifications
o High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management or similar field, preferred
o A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance
o PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products
o Must have a valid CPR/AED certification, including infant and child, within the first 45 days of employment and maintain valid certification throughout employment
o Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, electrical systems, etc.
o Strong knowledge facilities machines and equipment
o Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
o Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o Previous managerial experience is a plus
o Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license (with acceptable driving record) and own means of transportation (registered and insured)
Physical Requirements
o Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods
o Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
o Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read and write
