What We Are Looking For- Is This You?
We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Light-Duty Diesel Technician to join our passionate team. With strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly with light duty diesel engines. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining a diverse range of cars and light duty diesel and gasoline trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing DEF systems
- Diagnosing and repairing internal engine components
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles from bumper to bumper
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Running diagnostic tests on vehicles.
- Analyzing diagnostic test results.
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the shop.
- Follow safety protocols while working with industrial equipment to prevent accidents.
Requirements:
- GM training a plus but not required
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role within a dealership or automotive repair environment.
- Strong technical knowledge, particularly of light duty diesel engines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in technology related to diesel technicians.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
