Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Service Porter to join our team. The Service Porter plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing essential support to both customers and staff. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival at the service drive.
- Safely and efficiently move customer vehicles in and out of the service drive and service bays.
- Vacuum and clean the interior of customer vehicles to ensure they are returned in pristine condition.
- Run customer vehicles through the car wash to maintain cleanliness and provide a polished service experience.
- Use a floor scrubber to clean and maintain the service drive and service bays, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Moving and storing customers' winter and summer tires as needed.
- Fill washer fluid for technicians as needed to ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
- Empty oil drains in service bays to keep work areas organized and clean.
- Assist service advisors with vehicle check-in and check-out, ensuring the smooth transition of vehicles through the service process.
- Ensure vehicles are parked safely and in designated areas to maximize space and efficiency.
- Perform housekeeping duties to keep the service drive, customer waiting areas, and surrounding spaces neat and orderly.
- Provide additional support to the service department as needed, such as running errands or picking up parts.
- Deliver a high level of customer service by answering basic customer inquiries or assisting with their needs during the service visit.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and safety protocols is preferred.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
- A valid driver’s license is essential for transporting vehicles safely.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
