Position Title: Database Specialist
Reports to: Development Director
Summary of Responsibilities: The Database Specialist is a staff position whose primary role is to manage and update the database of donors and volunteers.

Donor and Database Management:
- Assist with donation intake process by entering each cash, check, ACH, and online donation into the LGL database, compiling daily gift sheets, and sending thank you letters and acknowledgements.
- Providing Deposit Summaries to Bookkeeper summarizing each bank deposit in detail.
- Maintain in-kind gift information by collecting in-kind donation forms, entering in database, and sending thank you letters and acknowledgements.
- Run reports and maintain donor records in the database, keeping records as accurate and up to date as possible.
- Support events, including management of event registration data and event donation breakdown, providing reports as requested.
- Compile, email, and/or mail donor mailings, including bi-monthly welcome packets to new donors, monthly Key Giver updates, Annual Reports, Newsletters, event invitations, periodic appeals, and donor impact messaging.
- Track grant reports in Little Green Light.
- Oversee all mailings in a timely manner, including creation of mailing lists, postage, and assigning roles for bringing to post office, ordering paper, etc.
- Digitally or physically file documents accompanying donations and grants when necessary.
- Assist with annual audit, including the provision of major gift and grant documents.
- Manage integrations between LGL and other systems, including Stripe, Harness, and Constant Contact.
- Oversee database management, updates, training of new employees, policy manual, and maintenance.
Other Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in staff and team meetings.
- Other duties as deemed necessary in assisting the staff in reaching Dégagé Ministries’ goals.
Compensation: This is a full-time salaried position, with a salary range of $40,000-$44,000 per year, depending on experience.
This is an “at will” position. There is no length of tenure of employment implied or stated.
