DegaTech Systems, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Executive with a private pilot certificate (preferably with an Instrument rating) to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.
As a Sales Account Executive for our main software offerings, you will be at the forefront of selling aviation fuel management software that caters to FBOs as well as business and charter flight departments.

The sales role will be on site out of our office at the Van Nuys Airport. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, has business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, and is confident & passionate about aviation.
To be effective in this role you will need to demonstrate proven proactive sales ability, passion for creating exceptional customer experiences, smart procurement techniques, creative presentation of offers, as well as an ability to close.
Note: Applicants must have a pilot certificate as they may be asked to fly right seat in the company’s small GA aircraft to visit clients and sales prospects. Additionally, as a U.S. Defense Contractor, DegaTech Systems, Inc. requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment for any position (regardless of level) MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen) without a criminal record.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Growth: Identify and engage with potential customers, building trust and effectively closing deals
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct competitive market analysis, and develop strategic sales strategies
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers, assist with onboarding, and document all interactions in Zoho, our core CRM tool
- Travel Requirements: May require travel 1 - 2 weeks per quarter to support trade shows, demonstrations, and customer meetings
- Event Support: Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer events as needed to support sales development
- Make proactive sales contacts and follow-up calls as well as answer customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas
Qualifications
- FAA Private Pilot Certificate (preferably with an Instrument rating)
- Experience in aviation is a plus
- At least three (3) years of sales experience in B2B sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management software
- Exceptional Organizational and follow up skills
- Customer focused with good people skills and the ability to form relationships with key individuals
- Ability to work flexible hours

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
