Maintenance Technician

Manufacturer in Wilson, NC is Hiring Maintenance Technicians!

Pay Rate: $25 to $30 hourly plus benefits and quarterly bonuses
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shifts available!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location.
• Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align with company strategy.
• Support and maintain department lean initiatives as set out in system requirements.
• Maintain department 5S requirements.
• Troubleshoot process automation problems.
• Perform regular housekeeping duties.
• Work within QS9000 procedures and requirements.
• Ensure work is performed in a manner that minimizes downtime.
• Ensure all new and rebuild equipment has all features required by CSA, OSHA, and Electrical Safety Code.
• Perform root cause analysis failure.
• Maintain equipment documentation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Training: See LFC Training Matrix for training requirements
• Experience in CNC and robotic repair/ programming.
• Ability to evaluate condition of damaged mechanical equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement.
• Compare states of each item before and after damage, consider cost and feasibility of repairs in compliance with codes and regulations and examine advantages of replacing equipment.
• Assess suitability of new equipment needed for installations and repairs.
• Ability to work in teams that include engineers, machinists, and architects.
• Ability to provide technical support and services to engineers.
