Large Distributor in Charleston, SC is Hiring Purchasing Managers!
Pay Rate: $75,000 to $90,000 annual based on experience
Shift: Day shift - Normal Business Hours (Full time 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
- Manage the purchasing process for all foodservice-related products and services.
- Utilize company software to source and negotiate with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast needs and manage budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoQuotes software.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the foodservice industry.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
