Job Description and Requirements:
- A Full Time Funeral Service Director is needed at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory's Maitland Location.
We seek a Florida Licensed Funeral Director with competitive base pay plus commissions, paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k).
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, although it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Must be a licensed funeral director in the state of Florida.
- Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating compassion, respect, and attention to detail when interacting with families.
- Show leadership skills by communicating effectively with the Care Center team and funeral home staff, as well as upper management.
- Understand the services and products available.
- Follow company procedures and protocols on all levels.
- Ensure data accuracy in our proprietary software.
- Demonstrate organization and initiative by discussing assignments, expectations, priorities, and deadlines with your team.
- Maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record to operate company-owned vehicles.
