Responsibilities
- Develop detailed estimates for commercial electrical projects, including calculations and takeoffs.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify scope of work and required contents of estimates.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to request quotes and negotiate prices.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all takeoffs and costs analysis for estimates.
- Draft scope letters, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and PDF programs.
- Ability to analyze complex project data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
