What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd shift Laser Tube cutter Operator position at Deister Machine?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and OSHA requirements, as stated in the 1910 OSHA GENERAL INDUSTRY REGULATIONS & STANDARDS.
- Operates Laser Tube Cutter
- Follows standard operating procedures and job order provideds
- Loads and unloads machine
- Clean parts and place on appropriate pallets
- Enters data into Navision (inventory software)
- Ensures parts are labeled correctly, including pallets labeled with accurate job number
- Keep machine and area organized and clean
- Operation of Combi Lift
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to use computers efficiently and effectively
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to read tape measure and prints
- Must have good attendance
- Must understand how to operate machining capabilities of machine
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be able to work overtime
- Must be able to work well with others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
