DUTIES :
Lockout / tagout devices used at all times when necessaryMust conform to all customer safety regulations, as well as MSHA, etc.Perform most functions of a Welder / Assembler while in the fieldDrives or flies to various customer locations throughout the countryTravels required approximately 50% of work hoursGathers parts and tools, and double check, before loading and / or leaving for service jobsObserves screen / feeder in operation, paying attention to audible indications of issuesDismantles mechanisms, or applicable component, to gain access to and remove defective partsExamines form and texture of parts to detect imperfectionsInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirementsAdjusts functional parts of screens and feeders as requiredRepairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.Sets up and operates magnetic drill, grinder, and other metalworking tools to install and / or remove or modify repair partsStarts, or requests start of screens / feeders to test their performance, after repairs are completeCompletes service and expense reports in a timely fashionReturns tools and trucks in a clean, safe condition - cleaning to be done during normal shift hoursWill perform normal shop duties when not in fieldAvailable for short notice service tripsQUALIFICATIONS :
