Job Description:

Our Account Managers should be highly motivated and detail-oriented. They are responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring clear communication, accurate financial reporting, effective project management, and documentation of standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their financial needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage various bookkeeping projects for clients, including payroll processing, and accounts payable/receivable management.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop and document standard operating procedures for bookkeeping processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate working relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and providing financial support and insight into their books.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in client accounts, demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other account managers, operational manager, and business owner in order to improve operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on accounting software improvements, and best practices, continually seeking opportunities to grow in knowledge and experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in account management, financial reporting, project management, and SOP documentation.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Google Workspace (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
