What your day will look like:
Under supervision, you will perform a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel, and other related work as required. This will include:
- As directed by the teacher, work with an individual or small group of students who have learning disabilities.
- Make effective use of instructional materials and demonstrate effective methods of instruction to ensure that the individual student performance levels, needs, and abilities are addressed.
- Exercise behavior management and maintain control of students assigned to your care.
- Collaborate with teachers and other paraprofessionals in the special education and general education classrooms.
- This position will be 29.5 hours per week.
