POSITION TITLE: Auxiliary Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must meet federal and state certification requirements
- Must have Child Development Associate Credential
- Must be able to lift, bend, and squat as assignment may require
- Must have Background, Drug, and TB Clearance
REPORTS TO:
- School Principal; Director of Federal Programs
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists students while the teacher works with special groups.
- Assists teachers in general classroom duties and responsibilities.
- Provides assistance in standardized test preparation.
- Performs any other position related duties as assigned not to exceed time limits.
- Uses an appropriate time reporting system.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule for aides in line with credentials and experience.
EVALUATION:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
