POSITION TITLE: Instructional Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid teaching certificate
- Master’s Degree in Administration (minimum)
REPORTS TO:
- Superintendent or Superintendent's designee
SUPERVISES:
- Assigned personnel
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervision, scheduling, and training for Instructional Coaches
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the county in-service/professional development plan.
- Teacher evaluation and support to ensure high quality classroom instruction
- Prepare and administer budgets for assigned programs.
- Complete evaluations and reports for assigned programs.
- Interpret and support the policies established by local, state and federal guidelines and laws.
- Implement all local, state and federal mandates.
- Trained or will be trained in the personnel evaluation system adopted by the Board of Education.
- Serve as a resource person in the areas of assigned responsibilities.
- Provide information on the status of the areas assigned as required by local, state and federal policies.
- To perform any other position related duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
- Maintain the confidentiality of student and employee records.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Salary and work year to be according to the current Board approved salary schedule.
EVALUATION:
- Performance of this job will be evaluated annually with provisions of the Board's adopted evaluation policy for professional personnel.
