What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at DeKalb County Eastern Community School District?
- Safely transport students to and from school and other activities
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while being prepared for emergencies
- Implement and maintain safe rider protocols while on bus
- Manage student behavior and address issues as they arise
- Create, adhere to and communicate with parents/students regarding route schedules
- Complete routine bus pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting issues
- Ensure bus cleanliness
- Attend trainings and meetings as directed
- Other duties as assigned by Transportation Director
