What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guidance and Athletic Secretary position at DeKalb County Eastern Community School District?
- Maintain all student records, including new student enrollments and records requests
- Manage transcript requests for applications and scholarships
- Maintain special education and permanent records
- Create incoming 7th grade files and manage 8th grade enrollment
- Sell all athletic season passes
- Work with coaches to manage background checks, paperwork, and required classes
- Work with Central Office on coaches' contracts and payments
- Organize, assign, and confirm gate box and event workers
- Manage eligibility lists for junior and senior high students based on grades and physicals
- Prepare awards, letters, and certificates for each sport
- Maintain athlete's physical forms and IHSAA entries
- Communicate with coaches and prepare rosters
- Assist students, parents, and community members as needed
- Other duties as assigned by Guidance Counselors and Athletic Director
