Job Description
As an HVAC Skilled Trade Supervisor III with the DeKalb County School District, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems throughout our district.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct HVAC technicians and vendors.
- Assign and manage work orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and contractors.
- Set expectations for service quality.
- Assist staff with inquiries.
- Communicate with supervisor and school administrators.
- Procure parts and supplies.
- Schedule and complete maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three years supervisory experience in engineering, architecture, or facilities management required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Universal CFC Certification 3, DDC OEM instructed Technical Credentials, and one or more current certification/licenses as follows:
- GDOL Certificate of Authority to install, repair and operate boilers to 250 hp
- Unrestricted HVAC license in the State of Georgia
- 1st class NIULPE license
- NATE certification in all Service, Installation, and Senior Technician categories
