DEL-AIR is a growing industry leader with several locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Vero Beach, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota.
Primary Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for presenting pricing agreements, developing business plans and sales strategies that will grow the business and increase revenue in the Tampa market. Manage day-to-day Builder communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new, and upcoming communities. As necessary, visit customers, attend trade shows, and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship building opportunities.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
- Call on a variety of prospective customers to secure bid opportunities. Work with Builder contacts, Zonda forecasting data and local knowledge to scout upcoming new communities with the parameters and scope that best fit our business model.
- Participating in industry and/or promotional events (e.g., Home Builders Association Meetings) to cultivate customer relationships and networking.
- Collaborate with Builder, Manufacturer and Vendor (BMV) Sales Representatives from the region.
- Keenly manage builder relationships by addressing concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner.
- Monitor, research, and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
- Utilizing Salesforce CRM platform.
- Monitor competition via win/loss reporting to VPs.
- Research what GP percentage the Company to bid for new communities (per Builder).
- Occasionally inspect the Company’s rough and trim installations and report concerns to VPs.
- Preparing and presenting reports to the VPs related to your Sales activity as well as recommending improvements to sales processes and strategies.
- Manage accounts by representing your Branch Operations team(s) externally with BMV and internally with all supporting RNC employees and departments.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the Builders’ position in the market, their product/service, and points of difference.
- Know the volume of work per Builder and identify strengths and weaknesses of other HVAC competitor(s).
- Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels in the market.
- Ensure all RNC Operations Leaders (VPs, Senior Procurement Manager, Start Up & Warranty Manager, Construction Manager) are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as required.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Qualifications:
- 10 years’ experience with existing RNC Builders.
- Obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Friendly and upbeat personality.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance.
- Demonstrates a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done.
- Additional duties and tasks as assigned.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
