What are the responsibilities and job description for the RNC Assistant Field Supervisor position at Del-Air Heating & Air Con?
Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising the RNC Startup/Warranty field personnel c and customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals and objectives in their respective location. Communicate directly with customers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status and requirements.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
- Maintains the operational effectiveness and profitability of the RNC Startup/Warranty department.
- Grows and develops the RNC Startup/Warranty team both in number and skill.
- Manage team schedule to meet ongoing customer demand and seasonal spikes.
- Monitor employee work and provide frequent feedback to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training when needed to field personnel.
- Work alongside technicians and dispatch to ensure the overall success of the business.
- Communicates regularly with dispatch to ensure that personnel are being scheduled properly by skill level, efficiency, and training requirements.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
- Responsible for employee recruitment, coaching and discipline of direct reports.
- Oversees assigned HVAC service vehicles, monitors vehicles to ensure they are being maintained and operated as required and used according to company policy.
- Work with other departmental managers to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Responsible for special projects as requested by management and other duties/ responsibilities as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all Del-Air policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Five years or more of HVAC Residential Service field experience.
- Five years or more of HVAC Management related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Has the ability to read, interpret, utilize, and train on manuals, schematics and control circuits related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills
- Computer literate with adequate knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Always obtain a valid driver’s license and able to meet company auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Must have EPA Certification
- Knowledge of local codes
- Eligible to legally work in the United States
- Ability to speak Spanish, preferred.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
Salary : $52,000 - $54,000
